Report on the work of the St John’s Branch and in Rudolf Steiner House and musical contribution from Sarah Corbett.
The St John’s Branch and Rudolf Steiner House invite you to the inaugural Erwin Berney Oration Fundraiser. This lecture is part of an annual fundraising event which will contribute to its foundation in the world, and allow it to continue as a living source for the various schools and initiatives in Sydney, and beyond.
Erwin Berney (1922 – 2011) was a founding member of the first ‘Orientation Course’ in Anthroposophy in Sydney, in the early 1980’s, which later became Parsifal College for Adult Education, and now, Sydney Rudolf Steiner College, where he lectured until his mid 70’s. He also founded Demeter Bakery (now closed) and EduCareDo.
Lisa Romero is an author of inner development books, a complementary health practitioner and an adult educator who has been offering healthcare and education enriched with anthroposophy since 1993. Lisa was a student of Erwin’s at Parsifal College and then a custodian of his work at EduCareDo. From 2006 the primary focus of her work has been on teaching inner development and anthroposophical meditation.
